Basic Cadet Orientation Program
Basic Cadet Orientation Program (BCOP) is geared towards the brand-new CAP cadet in their first achievements of the Cadet Program.
BCOP teaches basic skills of the Cadet Programs and aims to prepare cadets to attend Basic Encampment their first summer in the program.
Emphasis of this program is on the basic fundamentals of teamwork, participation as a flight member in drill and ceremonies, wear of the CAP uniform, and customs and courtesies.
For many cadets, the adjustment to the CAP Cadet Program can be a significant one. This immersive weekend course is designed to help new cadets shorten the CAP learning curve to become active and productive members of their home squadrons.
Possess a Current First Aid & CPR Card
ICS NIMS 100 & 700 complete
Physical Category 1
Completion of Encampment by Course Start Date (Cadets)
Completion of Cadet Protection Training (Students over 18)
Completion of Achievement 1 (Cadet) or Level 1 (Seniors)
Course Fee includes food and some safety equipment
